A private yacht charter in Istanbul with MerrySails starts at €220for a two-hour whole-boat sailing on the Bosphorus — that is the price for the entire 12-guest boutique yacht, not per person. The fleet then steps up to a 15-guest premium yacht from €320, and one 40-guest group yacht from €380 for up to 15 guests or €500 for 16–40 guests, with 90- and 150-guest event yachts priced by quote. Every charter price includes the licensed captain and crew, fuel, cookies, mixed nuts, soft drinks, tea, water, life jackets, and onboard audio. There is no concierge or OTA markup — you book direct from the TÜRSAB A-Group operator running this fleet. Every yacht with a published price takes 10% off from 3 hours. The event yachts are priced by quote, with 10% off from 5 hours on the Event Yacht 90 (4-hour minimum) and from 3 hours on the Mega Event Yacht 150. Catering, alcohol, a DJ or live music, a photographer, and proposal styling sit on a separate brief so the deck price stays clean. Children are welcome; because the price is for the whole yacht, there is no separate child fare. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure.

The bookable fleet sorts into three categories by deck size. Use this overview to short-list the right tier before opening the full fleet section above.
From €220 / 2h
Compact yachts for couples, anniversaries, birthday afternoons, and tight friend trips. The boutique 12-guest and premium 15-guest decks sit in this tier.
From €380 / 2h
One group yacht for medium gatherings, with the total matched transparently to guest count for birthdays, brand evenings, and corporate offsites.
By quote
Event-built decks for wedding receptions, gala dinners, full-program corporate evenings, and brand activations. Priced per program.
One booking, one yacht, only your guests aboard. Boutique and private yachts carry 12 or 15 guests, one group yacht carries up to 40, and two event yachts take 90 and 150 guests for weddings and brand evenings.
Each booking holds the entire yacht. Captain, crew, fuel, cookies, mixed nuts, soft drinks, tea, and water are included. Every yacht with a published price takes 10% off from 3 hours. The event yachts are priced by quote, with 10% off from 5 hours on the Event Yacht 90 (4-hour minimum) and from 3 hours on the Mega Event Yacht 150.
Catering, alcohol, DJ, live music, photographer, proposal styling, and hotel transfer are on a separate quote — deck price stays clean, program stays flexible.
The honest answer from running this fleet ourselves: the deck price is the floor, not the total. A two-hour Bosphorus charter on our smallest boutique yacht starts at €220 per yacht (not per person) with captain, crew, fuel, cookies, mixed nuts, soft drinks, tea and water included. From there the number moves on three levers — duration, group size and catering. Every yacht with a published price takes 10% off from 3 hours. The event yachts are priced by quote, with 10% off from 5 hours on the Event Yacht 90 (4-hour minimum) and from 3 hours on the Mega Event Yacht 150. The 40-guest group deck and the 150-guest event yacht carry higher base rates because they run a larger crew. The extras that surprise first-time charterers are always the same: hot-food catering, alcohol, a DJ or live act, and proposal styling. We quote those line by line rather than folding them into a single inflated headline price, so a couple booking a sunset proposal and a company booking a 40-guest reception start from the same transparent deck figure.
The most expensive mistake we watch guests make is sizing up “to be safe”. A 12-guest party on the 40-guest deck pays for a vessel and crew they never fill. The bookings that land on budget are the ones that match deck size to the real head count and then add hours — not capacity. As a TÜRSAB A-Group licensed operator (#14316), every charter is fully insured and the price you confirm at merrysails.com is the price you pay, with no agency commission layered on top.
Which yacht is cheapest for your head count
Most charter listings show a single “from” price and leave the head count to you. Worked out from our own two-hour price list, the cheapest yacht that carries the whole group is:
The step between bands is the one to watch: 15 guests sail for €260, while 16 guests need the €500 yacht. If one or two guests are still unsure, settle the head count before you choose the boat. Above 40 guests, the event yachts (30 to 150 guests) are priced by quote.
